Polis, which is the greek name for the town is located in one of the prettiest region of Cyprus. It is close to romantic
places, where the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, met her loved Adonis. Polis is northwest of Cyprus, close to the Akamas peninsula, at the bathes of Aphrodite. |

Akamas is a protected area with exceptionally natural beauty which will be declared to a national park. The surrounding
of Polis is famous for its nature and connects the beauty of mountains, sea and country. The sea is clean and warm and with nice beaches. The climate is healthy with mild winter and cool summernights.
This area is qualified for visitors with special interests, who want to spend an active holiday. You can go for wonderful hiking tours in the Akamas or mountainbiking. |

Polis is about 35km from Paphos - driving distance is about 30 minutes. To the airport Paphos it is about 45 minutes by
car, to airport Larnaca about 2 hours and to the Tsada golf course it is 20 minutes drive.
